My artistic inspiration comes from everywhere and everything. Generally, I am influenced by the physical world around me but even more so from deep inside that physical realm. The primary goal for my work is to create imagery that is aesthetically impactful and leaves the viewer with both a sense of wonder and an ongoing source of visual discovery.
MY APPROACH TO ART BEGAN WITH A CONSISTENT OBSESSION WITH MY PROCESS OVER THE CREATION OF SPECIFIC SUBJECT MATTER. as I MATURE AND GROW AS AN ARTIST, I FIND MYSELF GRAVITATING TOWARD A SIMPLER APPROACH TO MY WORK. I AM LESS CONCERNED WITH WHETHER OR NOT SOMETHING HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE AND MORE FOCUSED ON TRUSTING MY OWN INSTINCTS TO CREATE AN ORIGINAL VERSION OF WHATEVER IT IS I AM CREATING.
The process of applying paint to a surface OR STYLUS PEN TO A TABLET gives me an endless feeling of enjoyment and satisfaction. An ongoing pursuit of an indescribable CREATIVE illusiveness, which I can only hope will continue to reveal itself through hard work and perseverance.
